Krysta is a former Senior Expert at McKinsey & Company who advised clients across Advanced Industries, Power, Oil & Gas, and Public Sector organizations on strategies for decarbonization and industrial transformation. At McKinsey, she co‑led the Carbon Management practice and worked closely with the U.S. Department of Energy to develop the Carbon Management and Industrial Decarbonization Liftoff reports. Prior to consulting, she was a materials engineer at a major oil & gas company and also conducted biofuels research at a U.S. national laboratory. She holds a PhD and MSc in Materials Science from Stanford University and a BSc in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
