We’re hiring for three new roles across the US and UK, as we continue to build Constructive’s organizational and program capacity:

• US Program Director (remote, with regular travel around the US)

• UK Programme Manager (remote, with regular travel to London and Europe)

• US Operations Manager (remote, with regular travel around the US)

These roles will form a critical part of Constructive’s backbone, strengthening our ability to design and deliver programs, support cross-sector collaboration, and scale our work across geographies.

2025 saw big changes and new pressures — rising demand, affordability, energy security — meet intensifying climate impacts.

But the technologies we need to meet this moment largely exist. The core challenge now isn't invention; it's collaboration.

Last year we launched Constructive to help institutions, markets, and individuals work together to deploy clean energy technologies at speed and scale — to advance energy abundance and a thriving planet.

What a first year it was: we built a team across two countries, launched and delivered our first programs, and partnered with leaders in distributed energy, geothermal power, industrial decarbonization, and more.

Geothermal “Superabundance” at the Western Governors’ Association workshop

Senior Fellow Mike O’Connor spoke about the geothermal opportunity in the Mountain West at the WGA’s “Energy Superabundance” workshop in Arizona last month. The WGA uses these workshops to inform the annual Chair's Report and Congressional asks.

Mike was joined by Kayla Lucero-Matteucci from Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs’ Office of Resiliency, and Tim Kowalchik from the Utah Office of Energy Development.

You can now access the main stage recordings from last year’s high-energy, high-impact DERVOS summit, held over 3 days last October in New York City.

• Jonah has been digesting Nat Bullard’s annual “state of decarbonization” deck, which has become one of the go-to sources of truth for clean energy and climate professionals. The accompanying podcast is well worth a listen, too. 

• Susan is reading two new analyses from Ember: their latest European Electricity Review, which finds that renewables generated more power than fossil fuels in Europe in 2025, and India’s Electrotech Fast-Track, which explores how cheap electrotech is enabling India to industrialise without the long “fossil detour” taken by China and the West.

• Krysta is starting 2026 with an uplifting read (!) - Everything is Tuberculosis. The book explores our choice to live in a world with TB as the #1 infectious disease - despite it being curable. “Some parallels with climate change for sure,” says Krysta.
