Dear friends, We’re thrilled to share that today we’re officially launching Constructive, an independent nonprofit built to align actors and actions toward energy abundance and a thriving planet. Why Constructive?As champions of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Liftoff and Deploy efforts we saw up close how outcome‑driven collaboration between government and the private sector can unlock $ billions for clean energy projects. Many sectors face the same set of human obstacles to scale – siloed decision‑making, inconsistent fact bases, fragmented accountability – creating a persistent “messy middle” between ambition and execution. Constructive exists to address this gap. We work with partners to co-design and produce flagship events, sustained dialogues, and data‑rich engagement platforms that translate vision and ambition into commitments, contracts, and ultimately steel in the ground. Early momentumWe’ve covered a lot of ground since our soft launch in April, when we began building our team and developing partnerships. In May, we partnered with the 2035 Initiative and Brightfield Infrastructure to deliver a high-impact 1-day summit to build wildfire and energy resilience in Santa Barbara - you can check out the recap here. In October, we’re teaming up with the DER Task Force to deliver the 4th annual DERVOS on Governor’s Island — get early bird tickets before they’re gone! And next July, we have the honor of co-producing ASME Catalyze 2026 to mobilize the global engineering community around industrial decarbonization and clean energy. We’ll be announcing more partnerships soon, and in the meantime inquiries continue to roll in.
